With a career marked by a plethora of publications, Professor Bolorizadeh's investigations into electron and proton impacts on water vapor, multiple ionization phenomena, and the electronic properties of compounds like beryllium oxide and metallic calcium have significantly advanced our understanding of these complex systems. Moreover, his contributions to photonics, including the design of optical fiber sensors and the generation of broadband infrared supercontinuum, have practical implications for optical sensing technologies.

Mehdi Bolorizadeh PhD.

Mehdi Bolorizadeh Ph.D. is currently an Astronomy Professor who is an experienced Systems Engineer and Product Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the research industry. Since 2014, he has been providing services on a contractual basis. Career uniquely blends a broad and deep technical background in instrumentation, metrology, 3D microscopy and microanalysis, material and surface science, and nanotechnology. E2E product launches and development, product design, financial analysis as well as product marketing.

Experienced in managing multidisciplinary and cross-disciplinary project teams (sales and marketing, scientific, and engineering), managing third-party technical suppliers and contractors, and providing product development across multiple industries.

Dr. Mitra Bahreini

He currently serves as the CEO of Octolabs, a stealth startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he has been leading the company since January 2023. Additionally, Pezeshkian is an active angel investor, supporting innovative ventures such as Alto, Nomba, and Capchase since November 2020. His previous experience includes a significant tenure at Uber, where he played a critical role in developing mission-critical changes and managing technical initiatives from 2018 to 2022. Pezeshkian also co-founded WonderBeam, focusing on rapid consumer goods delivery, and Nebula Music Technologies, enhancing musician performance through advanced technology.

Pouya Tavakoli B.S Computer Engineering

Pouya Tavakoli is a skilled software development engineer with a strong background in cloud computing, Kubernetes, and API development. Since December 2021, he has been working as an SDE II at Expedia Group, where he has played a key role in migrating customer applications to a Kubernetes-based cloud platform, developing Kubernetes Operators in Go, and enhancing the deployment process for better error messaging and efficiency.

He has also been responsible for upgrading EKS clusters, refactoring APIs for compatibility with Argo CD, and setting up monitoring alerts in Datadog. Prior to his role at Expedia, Pouya worked at Samsung Austin Semiconductor from December 2019 to December 2021, where he migrated web applications to an internal cloud system, developed internal tools using Django, HTML, and JS, and created data visualization dashboards with Python and Spotfire. He began his career as an engineering intern at Samsung, where he implemented a REST API and developed a machine-learning algorithm for wafer image analysis. Pouya holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, earned in December 2019.
